VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Without the help of our volunteers, the Brooks Bandits would not be able to operate at the high level we do.  It takes a large number of volunteers to make a game night happen, so to all of our current, past and future volunteers, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!
We are always looking for new volunteers so if you are interested in helping out and being a part of our Bandits "posse", please contact us at 403.363.5859 or via email at bbmarketing@eidnet.org.

BILLET OPENINGS

Every year, the Brooks Bandits Hockey Club welcomes young men from around North America into our city.  These players range from 16 to 20 years old and their stay in our city can last anywhere from one day to five years!
When these young men become a member of the Brooks Bandits Hockey Club, they do not live on their own and require accomodations.  This is where the billet family becomes very important as each player is placed in a home in the local community.  The billet family offers a place to sleep, support, food and a positive environment for a young man.
Billeting can be a very exciting and rewarding experience for all of those willing to open up their homes to dedicated hockey players.  Many families who have billeted in the past usually look back at their experience with fond memories. In fact, many families still stay in touch with players they had billeted in the past as they move through the University and Professional ranks.
Message from the Coach & General Manager, Ryan Papaioannou:
"As we prepare for another season of Bandits Hockey our expectations are lofty as always.  We need to replicate the success of last season and that starts with the homes our players live in.  Our players have done a fantastic job of putting our program on the map as a premier choice for a place to play Junior Hockey.  They have only been able to do this with the support of their billet families, so to returning familes, THANK YOU!  To any incoming billet families I wish the best experience upon you and hope you will enjoy becoming an integral part of our hockey team.
Without billets we would not operate at the level we do.  Your efforts to house, feed and support our players are not unnoticed and will alway be appreciated by the Coaching Staff and Players."
If you are interested in receiving more information on being a billet family please contact Leah Palmer, Billet Coordinator, at 403.363.9205.
