Ontario Hockey Academy - Cornwall Ontario - Boys Assistant Midget AAA Coach/Teaching with optional Dorm Position Available The Ontario Hockey Academy is a preparatory school in the heart of Canadian Hockey in Cornwall Ontario Canada. Our High Performance Academic-Athletic school is dedicated to providing the very best in improving and teaching academics along with advance hockey training and instruction. The Ontario Hockey Academy is a school that is designed to appeal and meet the escalating need for trained hockey players and currently has 4 boys and 3 women hockey teams. Assistant Coach: Assist all aspects of the Boys Midget AAA hockey team including organize and administer practice, game strategies, manage schedule, manage budget, injury reports, travel arrangements and weekly meeting with the Director of Hockey. Actively recruit qualified student-athletes. Attend contests; meet with perspective student athletes on campus; telephone contacts; communication with players, coaches and scouts. Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver the lesson plans and assessments of Ontario Secondary School (OSSD) Curriculum for Physics and/or Mathematics, 2-3 courses (Fall semester) and 2-3 courses (Spring semester). A minimum of 110 hours of scheduled class time in addition to preparation time is required per class. Required to obtain an Ontario C license to which will allow you to operate a 32 passenger school bus and coaches certificates.
