OMAHA JUNIOR LANCERS HIGH SCHOOL/MIDGET AA (u16 and u18) – GOALIE COACH
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Reports to: High School/Midget Director
Position: Volunteer with small stipend and expenses
Start Date: August 2013 for fall/winter season
Seeking a former Goalie who played at the Junior/Collegiate level to lead the growth and development of the goalies on this team; there might be additional opportunities within the association.
Qualifications:
* Played Goalie at the junior or collegiate level and has an in-depth knowledge of hockey sports-specific training
* Positive, personable outlook, energetic, happy, hardworking and thrive in high-pressure situations.
* Outstanding organizational and customer service skills (both written and verbal)
* Must enjoy working in team environment
Responsibilities:
* Work with Head coach to develop fun and exciting hockey training programs for goalies
* Train and coach players in a fun, safe and motivating manor and provide top quality instruction.
* Create and grow relationships with athletes and their parents and be a presence at tryouts, games and practices.
* Complete pre and post athlete evaluations
