Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, we are seeking a professional, proactive, and positive Sr. Coordinator, Human Resources to join our team. The Sr. Coordinator, Human Resources will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure flawless process execution, ensure compliance with all employment regulations, maintain compliant and accurate employee files and HRIS systems, direct employees to required resources and coordinate other HR initiatives as requested.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Expertly coordinate all administrative and communication aspects of employee on-boarding, off-boarding, and movement within the organization. Partner closely with other members of the team and cross functional partners to ensure all tasks are on track for accurate and timely completion.
  • Become an in-house expert on our HRIS system(s) and educate, coach and enable employees to utilize self-service features effectively.
  • Administer annual compliance requirements, track participation, send reminders, manage certifications and raise visibility to leadership as needed.
  • Support recruitment activities as needed such as posting open requisitions, scheduling interviews, arranging candidate travel, drafting offer letters, and administering pre-employment paperwork and screenings.
  • Provide candidate sourcing and screening support to talent acquisition during peak periods of staffing.
  • Maintain systems and files ensuring accuracy and completeness of HRIS data, personnel files, org charts, employment contracts, I-9s, and other legal compliance requirements.
  • Regularly run audits to ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Draft and submit personnel action forms and other related employment documents.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and requests for employment verifications.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed reporting on headcount, participation, and other key HR metrics to aid in workforce planning and budgeting recommendations that drive organizational performance.
  • Support the Performance Development Process (PDP) through system administration, progress tracking, training deck preparation, SOP creation, and other tasks as requested.
  • Oversee vendor invoicing, ensuring timely submission to finance and accurate coding.
  • Handle supplemental benefits administration including providing policy information to employees, routing approval documents through Adobe, and tracking for completion.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with the HR team to develop and implement efficient and lasting solutions
  • Assist with new employee orientation and educating new employees on HR policies, benefits and internal procedures.
  • Serve as a resource for basic employee questions.  Ensure inquiries are routed and responded to promptly.
  • Support the maintenance of compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Support all administrative tasks requested from the Human Resources leadership.
  • Research best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in Human Resources.
  • Maintain department calendar, providing regular updates to Human Resources team.
  • Support employee engagement, community and learning events as needed.
  • Provide office administration support to employees when required.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Player Stats and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in human resources required with a working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures; experience within the sports, events, or hospitality industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to always maintain highly confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Strong HRIS knowledge and deep proficiency in ADP or similar system.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) or related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to change direction quickly.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
